Lewis and Clark with the Military Corp were true discoverers as they went where no men from our country had gone before. The story of Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery is one that in it’s time is like our astronauts exploring space where few men have gone before.

A discovery is to acquire knowledge, to become informed, or maybe to explore and map a large region of what would ultimately lead to westward expansion of the United States.
Let’s consider goals that motivate us in writing about Lewis and Clark and joining a tour to contemplate the long trek from St. Charles Mo. to the outlet of the Columbia River and return with only one man lost.
